After 18 years of strict Evangelical Bible Believing churches with all the proper doctrine, the nice friendly folk of Holy Family were lovely. Father (Pastor) Peter gave the sermon (Homily or Hominy as I called it the day of....) and it was "right on". I will definitely go back to Holy Family, as it is in my neighborhood and I have not found such friendly folk who are not aggressive in a long time. There are many people who enjoy the tradition and liturgy of a Catholic service and continue in their pursuit of knowing Christ without placing faith in the sacraments of the Roman Catholic church as meritorious (works which grant you acceptance/salvation). This is our cheif contention with the Roman Catholic church as it was for the Catholic monk Martin Luther, who played a major role in the initiation of the Protestant Reformation. Salvation is always by grace alone, through faith alone, in person and work of Christ alone, on the authority of the Scriptures alone, for the glory of God alone.
